Krydon Group has successfully completed its CMMC Level 2 Self-Assessment, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and maintaining strong cybersecurity practices throughout our operations. We are proud to have completed this important initiative ahead of the government-mandated compliance date of November 10, 2026

Krydon initiated its CMMC journey in June 2020, launching a comprehensive program that included a gap analysis, roadmap development, and integration of cybersecurity enhancements into its ISO-based management system. This aggressive and disciplined approach positioned the company to rapidly execute the self-assessment.

Krydon Group President, Jesus Alvarez, emphasized that investing in cybersecurity is as critical as mission readiness. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Krydon’s team and partners like Miles IT, the company not only met but internalized these robust practices.

Krydon Group Announces Launch of Its CMMC Compliance Program

Cherry Hill, NJ — June 27, 2026 — Krydon Group, a minority‑owned small business specializing in federal power systems, technical services, and defense‑logistics support, today announced the formal kickoff of its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding sensitive government information and strengthening cybersecurity resilience across its operations.

The CMMC program will guide Krydon Group through a structured, organization‑wide effort to align with the Department of Defense’s evolving cybersecurity requirements. As CMMC becomes a standard contractual obligation across the Defense Industrial Base, the company’s proactive approach ensures uninterrupted support for federal customers and positions Krydon Group for continued growth in mission‑critical environments.

“Cybersecurity is now inseparable from mission readiness,” said Jesus Alvarez, President of Krydon Group. “Launching our CMMC program reinforces our commitment to protecting the data, systems, and trust placed in us by our federal partners. This is an investment in our customers, our people, and the long‑term resilience of our company.”

Krydon Group’s CMMC initiative includes a comprehensive assessment of current controls, development of a compliance roadmap aligned with CMMC Level 2 requirements, integration of cybersecurity enhancements into the company’s ISO‑driven management system, and preparation for posting assessment results to the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS).

The company will work closely with industry experts and technology partners to ensure a disciplined, audit‑ready implementation that meets federal expectations for cybersecurity maturity.

For more than a decade, Krydon Group has supported federal agencies with power‑system engineering, lifecycle services, and vendor‑managed logistics. The launch of its CMMC program underscores the company’s continued commitment to operational excellence, compliance, and mission assurance.
